友達のワトキン氏
ワトキン氏とは長いこと佐賀の私立高校で一緒に仕事をしていました。
私より１，２年先に退職されて、今はセブ島で生活しています。
兵法・二天一流の師範でもあります。
兵法二天一流とは、六十余度の勝負にも一度も敗北を知らない宮本武蔵の流れを汲んでいる古武道です。
今は、セブ島で暮らしながら、日本や海外で兵法二天一流の演舞大会があれば、必ず参加されているそうです。
そのワトキン氏が Facebook に載せられていた記事というかお話がとても面白かったので無断でコピーしました。
５４才の女性の話
A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.
５４才の女性が心臓発作で病院に運ばれました。
While on the operating table she had a near death experience.
手術台で彼女は臨死体験をしました。
Seeing God she asked, "Is my time up?"
彼女は神に会って、「もう寿命が尽きたのですか？」と尋ねました。
God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live."
神は、「いえ、まだ４３年、２ヶ月と８日生きられますよ。」と言いました。
Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck.
回復後、その女性は病院に残って顔のしわ取り、脂肪吸引、乳房インプラント、お腹のしわ除去をしてもらいました。
She even had someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it.
さらに彼女は髪を染めてもらったり、歯のホワイトニングをしてもらいました。
残りの寿命がたくさんあったので、それを最大限に利用したほうがいいと思ったからです。
After her last operation, she was released from the hospital.
最後の手術が終わって、彼女は退院しました。
While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance.
家に帰る途中、通りを横切っていた時、彼女は救急車にはねられてしまいました。
Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?"
神の前にやってきて、彼女は言いました。「あなたは後４３年生きられると言いましたよね。どうして、救急車の通り道から私を救い出してくれなかったのですか？」
God replied: "I didn't recognize you."
すると、神は答えました。「あなただと分からなかったのですよ。」
